No School? Come Dance With Us!
Turn a day off school into something worth getting excited about.
Our PD Day Workshops are three-hour Friday experiences designed to get dancers moving, creating, learning and connecting. Each workshop brings something different, with rotating mentors, dance styles, activities and themes throughout the year.
No audition. No competitive experience required. Just come ready to dance.
Something Different Every PD Day
One Friday might be Jazz + Contemporary. The next could bring Hip Hop, Acro, Musical Theatre, Improv or a special guest mentor.
Some workshops may focus on technique. Others might focus on creativity, performance, choreography or simply trying a style you've never done before.
The idea is simple: every PD Day is another opportunity to grow.
And because the offerings rotate, dancers can come back throughout the year and have a completely different experience each time.
Who are PD DAY WORKSHOPS for?
Dancers of all backgrounds and experience levels.
You don't need to be on our Performance Team.
You don't need to take a certain number of classes.
And you don't need to be a current TDC dancer.
If you love to move and want to learn, there's a place for you here.
For workshops where previous experience or a particular age/skill level would make the experience more enjoyable, we'll make that clear in the event description.
Three Hours. So Much to Explore.
These aren't three-hour technique classes.
Our PD Day Workshops mix dance, creativity and community to give dancers an opportunity to step outside their regular weekly class and try something new.
Depending on the workshop, dancers might experience:
MOVE
Explore different dance styles, choreography and movement.
CREATE
Try improv, choreography challenges, creative activities and more.
LEARN
Build skills, technique, musicality, creativity and confidence.
CONNECT
Meet other dancers, work with different mentors and spend the afternoon as part of the TDC community.
