When she's not at the studio: She’s momming two busy kiddos, walking her dogs, or leading community fitness classes.

Movements: Shelby started dancing at five, falling in love with tap, jazz, and ballet. Now she’s in her fifth year of teaching and certified in Acrobatic Arts and affiliated with CDTA and Rambert Grades.
What she brings: A balanced mix of technical skill and theatrical fun—having choreographed for schools, musicals, and dance teams across Calgary.
More to know: She holds a Bachelor’s in History and a B.Ed from the University of Calgary, bringing thoughtful, student-first teaching into every class.

Movement roots: Been teaching dance since 2019. Trains and teaches in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Contemporary, Lyrical, Hip Hop, and genre-bending styles like swing, vogue, body percussion, and west African movement.
Why we love her: She’s endlessly curious—continuing professional development through workshops with local and international dancers and organizations (from Rambert to Decidedly Jazz Danceworks).

About her: Started teaching at age 15, trained in Jazz (ADAPT syllabus) and well-versed in Contemporary, Lyrical, Ballet, Tap, and Hip Hop. Danced in both recreational and competitive contexts in Calgary.
Teaching philosophy: Encourages dancers to go big—exploring full-bodied movement, breath, and rhythm. You’ll often hear her say: “use all your counts!”
Why she’s great for beginners: She meets curiosity and energy with structure and joy.

Background: A performer from day one—Mr. E sings, writes music, and dances. He’s performed in Ottawa, Mexico, Jamaica, California, Disneyland, and across Asia.
What sets him apart: He’s also a visual storyteller—founder of Eproductions Co Inc., leading photography and videography for events. That blend of art and movement inspires creative choreography and community connection.

Journey: Started dancing at five under Kelsea’s tutelage, then joined En Corps Dance Collective. In 2022 she became Artistic Director and choreographed the seasonal performance “Ephemeral.”
Passion: Bridging psychology with dance—she holds a BA in Honours Psychology and loves exploring how movement builds confidence, connection, and care.
Teaching style: Intentional, uplifting, and focused on emotional growth through movement.

Story: Originally from Victoria, B.C., Shannon moved to Calgary in 2020. She earned her BA in Dance and Pedagogy in Spring 2024 with Distinction.
Experience: Has taught across Calgary, coordinated events for View Dance Challenge, sewn costumes, and choreographed for a variety of contexts—from studios to schools to public events.
Ambitions: Wants to choreograph Broadway-style musicals, teach masterclasses, and maybe even dance at sea aboard a cruise ship.
In class: She’s dynamic, detail-oriented, and always supportive—helping dancers bring their own creativity to life.
